The underside has an extra thick plate, for even heat distribution, but be sure to clean the edge of this underside, but easy to clean. Dobie non scratch pads with dishwashing detergent, hot water, hand washing, works well. No one will be dissatisfied, but pleasantly surprised. Great for everyday use."

"This did not hit the mark. I absolutely love cooking and I cooked in the one time it was done. I keep my pan medium to low heat and use only beef tallow or ghee because of the high smoke point plus it preserves pans longer so I thought on this. Nope. Everything stuck burnt and trying to get everything off after soaking it was ruined. I should have taken pictures but I was sad and mad I just threw it away."

When that did not work, they quickly sent out a new pan. After 2 years, some warping has occured, and the non-stick finish is (as expected with all non-stick cookware in my experience) not fully non-stick as when new.
