- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup Chocolate Mix
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar, (optional)
- Pinch ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Mini marshmallows, for serving
- Combine the milk, chocolate mix, sugar if using, cinnamon and vanilla extract in a small Anolon® saucepan over medium heat. Bring just to a simmer, stirring. Pour into two mugs, top with marshmallows and serve.
Once you’ve made the basic version, try some of these variations:
Chili Chocolate: add a pinch of ground chipotle and a pinch of chili powder.
Almond Chocolate: substitute unsweetened almond milk and add 1/8 teaspoon of almond extract.
Hot Minty Chocolate: add 1/4 teaspoon mint extract
Double Hot Chocolate: add 1 ounce chopped semi-sweet chocolate to the heated milk and stir until melted.
