Yield:

12-16 medium-sized pancakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cup flour
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 ½ cups buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 4 Tbsp melted butter
  • Natural green food coloring 

Directions

  1. Whisk dry ingredients together in a large bowl
  2. Add buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter and whisk until all ingredients are incorporated
  3. Add food coloring agent
  4. Pour batter into squeeable bottles
  5. Heat up your griddle on medium heat and draw a shamrock shape outline. Fill in the shape evenly with batter
  6. Repeat until batter is all used up
  7. Enjoy with syrup or other toppings!
