- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2/3 cup popcorn kernels
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Combine the oil and popcorn kernels in a large pot over medium-high heat. Cover and cook, shaking pot, until popcorn pops, 3-5 minutes; pour popcorn into a large bowl.
- Combine the butter, cumin, chipotle pepper, and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat. Melt the butter and cook, stirring 1 minute. Pour over popcorn while stirring to coat evenly.
